Do you have more than one profile created in Domestika and want to unify them? Don't worry; it is possible to unify two profiles into one; we offer you two solutions to unify your profiles.
Before explaining how to unify your profiles, we would like to explain what unification is.
- Profile unification allows you to transfer all your purchases from one profile to another
- Profile unification does not transfer other types of information as it can be the progress in the courses, the projects, the profiles you follow, etc
- Once the profiles are unified, one of them will be deactivated.
You can find the Unify Profiles functionality in your Profile in the Account Settings section.
Profile unification can be done in two ways depending on your information.
1. If you have access to both profiles, use the options Do you want to transfer your accounts to another account?
2. If you have access to the profile that will remain final, and you have some data of the original profile you want to transfer use the option Do you want to transfer your accounts to another account?
Case 1. Do you want to transfer your accounts to another account?
This is the simplest and most direct case. The steps to follow are the following:
- Access Domestika.org with the Profile you want to transfer. This will be the profile that will finally be deactivated.
- Indicates the email of the destination profile, the profile to which the purchases will be transferred and that will remain as a unified profile.
- Once the email has been entered, click Save.
When you save the application, you will see an on-screen message as below. You will receive an email to the target profile with a link to the application for approval.
You will also have this request active in your target Profile.
Email received in your target Profile:
Approval request in your destination Profile:
Case 2. Do you want to bring your purchases from another account?
This case occurs when you have access to the destination profile but do not have access to the origin profile.
This may be because you do not remember the profile email or no longer have access to that email.
In this case, we will ask you for a series of data that will serve as evidence to be able to merge profiles.
The data that you must provide us is these:
Email: the email associated with the originating Profile.
Payment method: indicate the payment method with which you have made a prior purchase.
Transaction information: Please indicate the amount in your currency location and the date the previous purchase was made.
With the information provided, we will search for the origin profile and proceed to carry out the unification. A person from the customer service team may need to review this operation for approval.
We hope this information is useful and that you continue enjoying and learning. of your courses at Domestika.
