There are certain system requirements that your device should have so that you can play the video lessons without any issues.
On your computer
If you are using Windows, you must have an operating system of Windows 8.1 or later.
You can use Chrome, Firefox or Edge browsers. Make sure they are always up-to-date for the best experience. We remind you that Internet Explorer is no longer supported.
If you use Mac, you must have Catalina OS 10.15 or later.
As for browsers, you can use Safari, Chrome, Firefox or Edge. To avoid any issues, make sure they are always up-to-date.
If you browse using your cell phone
If you access Domestika from a browser on your cell phone or tablet, you must have Android 8.0 or later; and for Apple, iOS 12, iPadOS 12 or later. You can use Safari or Chrome, Edge or Firefox browsers.
Your Internet connection speed
You should always have a stable connection to avoid streaming issues.
Not sure what your connection speed is? You can check it by clicking here. We also recommend that you run this test more than once, as bandwidth may change.
If you have problems with your WiFi connection, you can try using a hardwired ethernet connection, which will often be better.
If you have checked all of these requirements and you still have problems playing the video lessons, contact us and provide the following information:
- how you access Domestika
- which browsers you have tried
- what your operating system and device is.
If possible, please also send us a recording of your screen so that we can see exactly what is happening and resolve the issue more quickly.
