In this article, we explain how to proceed with a change or a return of a course you have recently acquired.
Domestika reserves the right to deny, limit, or grant exchanges or refunds under its policy in case of abuse.
*This policy may change for in-app purchases as these payments are processed by Apple Store/Google Play who have their own policies.

How can I ask for my refund?
You can request a refund of your order, within the period of 14 days after the time of purchase.
- Debit/Credit Card or PayPal purchases (through the web).
The refund will be made to the same card/PayPal account with which the payment was made. Keep in mind that it may take several days to see the amount reflected in your statement, depending on your bank's management deadlines.

In-App purchases: Apple Store / Google Play
Payments through operating systems iOS or Android are processed through Apple Store and Google Play, so due to the restrictions of these Stores, you will need to contact them to request a refund of your order.

If you prefer to manage an exchange instead, you will be able to make it directly from your Domestika profile on the web. Whenever it is within the time limit stipulated from the purchase date.

Local payment method: cash/transfer* (through the web)
*This payment method is only available in Mexico, Colombia, and Brazil.
If you paid in cash, you won't be able to manage the refund of your profile. If you have used this payment method, please send us (through this form) the following information as the refund will be processed via bank transfer:
- Full name of the beneficiary.
- Identification number*. *ID number (Colombia), CURP (Mexico), CPF (Brazil).
- Account number.
- Type of account (savings or checking)
- Branch number.
- Name of your bank.
Keep in mind that, once carried out it may take several days to see the amount reflected in your statement, depending on your bank's management deadlines.
- Purchases paid with Plus credits
If you have purchased the wrong course with your Plus credits, you will be able to exchange the course for another one of your choice, but not refund it.
Important for Plus subscribers:
Please note that regardless of the subscription modality, Domestika Plus subscriptions and renewals are non-refundable. As you can immediately enjoy our Services after signing up, DOMESTIKA does not offer a right of 14-day withdrawal for our subscription plans. You acknowledge that when you sign up to a subscription plan, you agree to the immediate supply of digital content and, therefore, you lose your right to withdraw from the subscription plan.
However, it is always possible to cancel your subscription so that it is not automatically renewed before the next period starts. In the article I don't want to renew my subscription - how can I do this? You will find the necessary instructions.
Plus subscriptions cannot be transferred from one profile to another.
How can I request an exchange?
You can request an exchange up to 14 days from the date of purchase.
If you have bought the course using Plus credits, you can also request an exchange up to 14 days from the date of purchase.
If you have received a course as a gift, you can apply for an exchange whenever it is within the 14-day period.
*If your purchase was made through the Domestika app or with local payment methods, you can always make the change within the deadline mentioned above.
For you to manage the course exchange, follow these simple steps:
Step 1. Go to the Orders and Course Management section on your Domestika profile.
Step 2. There, you will be able to see all your orders. Those within our policy time frame will have the option "Request refund or exchange":
Step 3. Click the Request exchange button. Be sure to enter the exact name of the new course and the reason why you are requesting it.
Finally, Save changes and you're done! Your new course will now be available in the My Courses section of your profile. Enjoy it!
Keep in mind that changes can only be done once and that you can only redeem one course for another.
I accidentally added one or more courses to my order. Can I ask for a partial refund?
Domestika's refund policy does not allow partial refunds, however, we offer you the following alternatives:
If you have bought several courses in the same order:
- Proceed to the full refund of the order and repurchase properly.
- Manage a course exchange.
If your purchase includes a subscription:
- If your order includes a subscription and you want to refund it, remember that Domestika Plus subscriptions are non-refundable. In this case, you will have to cancel your subscription so that it won't be renewed for the next period. Also, keep in mind that it is not possible to exchange a subscription for one or more courses.
- If your order includes a subscription and you have added one or more courses to your order by mistake, you can exchange those courses for others you wish to take but not refund the order.
Remember that if you finally opt for the full refund of the order (Plus subscriptions not included), it must be within the stipulated period. Please note that the current progress in the reimbursed courses included in the order will be lost.
